Hello, Does any French speaking person knows what is written in the letter at the end of the movie? I looks like it is of any importance but the dvd of Mondo Macabro doesn't deliver subtitles when the letter is shown. I am really anxious to know.... Thanks for your help!

Mr Inspector, my friend Lore and myself would be very happy to see you assist [a la malinée récréative" (don't know about the noun malinée, possibly a mix of malin and matinée, evil and morning )] at the "entertaining evil morning" organised by the school tuesday september 4th where we are going to have the pleasure to recite some poems.
I've just seen it, and i'm french. It's not malinée but matinée which mean morning. If you look the letter carefully, you will see that the word after matinée: "récrative" have the letter T written in the same way. Nevertheless, it would have been an interesting wordplay.
