Overwrought final shot (SPOILER)


Aside from Segal's character's emotional state, were we to gather that he was freezing in the cold - but wearing almost the same amount of clothing as his wife, who stands there unaffected? I can see a feminist viewpoint here, where less care is taken for a female character.

I think their reactions were more psychological than physical in that final scene: Segal is timid and jittery, while Saint is hard-boiled and stoic.

Totally unrelated, but I just picked up a TV movie from the 50-cent bin called "Not My Kid," with George and Stockard Channing raising a teenager on drugs. Should be fun (the movie, not the drugs ... well, maybe the drugs also):
