Prime remake material.

No. Because everything was already done in the original. And it doesn't need fancy special effects.

EDIT: Maybe, only if they don't refake it and the proper price for a remake is paid, which is adding new ideas just as good as the original and then better. Which would discount about every remake except The Fly, and The Thing.

Got to watch this again, for the first time in forty years. When I was 9 this was the coolest movie ever among my friends and I. Seeing it now... well, it's pretty hokey, even by '70s standards. A remake would be a stretch. But anything with Angie Dickinson in it can't be all bad.

Was this movie a backdoor pilot for a TV show? i.e., The Fugitive meets The Invaders.
