is this a good movie?
Is this a great romance or just overrated *beep* My mother saw this when she was 11, she's 43 now, and she still remembers it. She says "If I saw this film every day, I'd cry every day." What do you think?

It's healthy for your husband to have to say he's sorry sometimes. Otherwise youre just another doormat wife. She should say she's sorry too if she'd done something wrong. Otherwise, what could be be saying, that love means never doing anything wrong in your lovers eyes? Yeah right.. okay enough of my rambling
No! This movie just plain sucks! But hey, that's just my opinion...

consider the difference of people today and people on 1970. consider the technology used in filmaking now and the past. consider the technology for sound mixing, dubbing today and the past. I say if you were young today, you would not likely like this. me, I liked it a little and it is one of the best old films i watched (together with The Godfather). But my old people at house consider this as the most beautiful movie, because well, they are old.

Hello! What about The Last Picture Show, Casblanca or His Girl Friday?? I love those movies - the change of films over the years makes no differnce as stories transcend time. Love Story was bad then and is still bad now.
