Is this the same movie?

For a long time this movie was on some kind of ban list.
Hence it has been hard to get hold of it (for European system)

It's been so long since I saw it... Could someone who has seen it tell me if any (or all) of the following scenes are in it:

1. A Japanese street fighter who uses head butting as his secret technique.
At first this street fighter is a villain and enemy, later, he almost joins forces with the hero. - This street fighter was one of my all time favorite characters in a film.

2. The hero is tied to a tree and has his hands smashed to pieces by the villainous Japs. - After which he has to seek out the forbidden "iron fist" technique to have a chance of defeating them.
He normally used gloves after learning the iron fist technique.

3. When he uses the "iron fist" his hands GLOW red.

4. There is a villainous teacher/master who's speciality is jumping across the room and removing people's eyes from their sockets... he then rolls the eyes in his hand like those meditation balls.

If these are not from "Chinese Boxer" please let me know from which films these bits are.

You have my gratitude.
Yours,
Thor

The key to identifying this movie (The Chinese Boxer) is the mention of the "three karate experts who takes down the shcool" (they actually kill all the students, except one: Wnag Yu.) The plot (the young man who masters the art of killing in order to take revenge on three professional assassins) is based loosely on "Nevada Smith" (with Steve McQueen; the prequel to "The Carpetbaggers" in which the older Nevada Smith is played by Alan Ladd in his last role).

The Chinese Boxer is a forgotten masterpiece. When I saw it in my country of origin in the early 70's --I had never seen anything like that. It started the martial arts film craze that put an end, for good, to the spaghetti westerns. The spaghetti westerns had replaced (some years before) the Italian "sand and sandal" epics ("Hercules"...)

And you can see the spaghetti influence on the 'duel' scene (drawing knives vs shurikens)
as a correction, wang Yu is not the only survivor, you ca see 5 or 6 on the funeral scene, all covered in bandages

Serenity now...

The film you are describing is "Five Fingers Of Death" with Lo Lieh as the hero....he is the villain in "Hammer Of God".

MANY THANKS!!! - Excellent! You guys are the greatest!!!

After YEARS of looking for this movie, I mis-remembered it as "Chinese Boxer" - It was of course called "King Boxer" when I saw it! - I did a search on IMDB and found the movie as "Five Fingers of Death", and there the alternative title was!

MANY MANY THANKS to you both for helping me find this movie after YEARS of looking for it! PHEW! - Of course, now that you have pointed it out, it wasn't Wang Yu who I was thinking of (I must have seen too many of Jimmy's movies, and it confused me!) - I was, of course, talking about: Lieh Lo - what an EXCELLENT ACTOR! I've seen many films with him, and he's great.

... and I can see the movie is STILL banned in some places (ie. Finland) probably for fear that others will learn that secret "iron fist" technique! - and maybe some HAVE! ;-D

Well, for your help in this matter, I include, for you, a picture of myself using the "iron fist technique"!

You're very welcome, Thor! I'm surprised to see that the 70s HK films are still banned in Finland...probably the "eyes on the floor" scene was a bit too much!

"Is it this sexual RODEO that has you in this STATE?"
