I'm looking for a war film I saw on TV in the 80s. I don't remember too much about it except that I liked it as a kid. The ending had the heroes holed up in a little stone room and the Germans either filled it up with water or gas. The beginning may have featured them parachuting into Germany. Is this The Last Escape? If not, any idea which film it may be? Cheers.

That sounds like Operation Daybreak(1976)with Anthony Andrews.

Maybe you can help me. I saw a WW2 war film where a spy was in germany or poland or czech and he was in a restaurant. He was eating but switched hands with the fork from the left hand to the right hand. As soon as the germans saw that, they knew he was a spy. What movie was that?
