New ON DEMAND DVD!

Just watched the new OnDemand DVD, noticed that this Wide print has a little bit more on each side, but has a little less on the top and bottom than the 4:3 VHS print.

Excellent picture and sound, but NO extras. None. Not even a menu. Pop it in, DVD starts playing. Press 'Menu' - nothing. Just repeats the movie.

Funky soundtrack, funked up editing. Maybe I should have been on something while watching this.

Bridges and Grant were good as usual. For 70's black movie fans, Diana Sands was great, along with Lou Gossett Jr. and Marki Bey. Cool cameos by Marlene Clark, Gloria Hendry and Lawrence Cook (lead actor in 'Spook Who Sat By The Door').

I really appreciate MGM and Warner Archive finally putting out movies on DVD, but instead of running off high priced DVD'Rs, why not do a limited run of silver pressed DVD's for a price of $20? Instead we get a $20 DVD with nothing extra. I can't believe Warner can put 4 Jim Kelly movies in one package for $15, but we only get one movie from Warner like 'El Condor' with Jim Brown and Lee Van Clief, put on a DVD-R with a crappy, almost generic cover.
