Anybody know wher i can access a website/book/database with a list of Movies of this genre - I don't mean vampire movies per se, as there's a plethora of those, but UK made monvies with great British actors, and in the late 60's early 70's with cheesy storylines, and good old fashioned ham (not hammer) horror fun!

I know I'm writing 7 years after your post, but you could find more movies like this one by doing the following:
1. Browse high-profile British actor's credits on IMDB. You may be able to refine the credits by genre. Titles for these kinds of films should stick out.
2. Look through the catalog for "Something Weird" releases. They have released this movie and probably have a few more like it.
3. Do an advanced search on IMDb for horror with ratings below a 4.5 between the years 1965-1975. You could also filter the country of origin, I think.
