Filmed in 1969 or 70

I believe I read in Sal Mineo's new biography this movie was shown on TV quite some time after it was filmed which may be why it seems so dated. Yes by 1971 hippies were just about done in by the Charles Manson gang who turned the whole movement into something sick & twisted.
