Grinding Poverty

The grinding poverty made me sick to my stomach. And why would a civil servant drop all common sense and have sex with a young girl so poor as she was? That cop was selfish and lacked compassion. He even used his duty weapon to shoot the father. He deserved getting stabbed. Why is hollywood so perverse?
