As much of a fine actor as Mr. Douglas was ( and I've never been disappointed in any performance he's ever given ), it took him seventy years to give the finest performance of his career, and one of the finest performances anyone will ever see. Please, no badgering from any of you ' Hud ' lovers. I love Hud, too.
