KFC

The word is that in exchange for feeding the staff KFC, Sanders got a walk on during the film. Many of the actors said later they were so sick of KFC they couldn't look at another piece of chicken.

The Colonel was a big fan of crappy, drive-in, B movies.
He'd offer free food for a bit of product placement (see it happened in the 70's too) and even a quick walk on part in several low budget exploitation cinema films.

Of course now-a-days, KFC would never appear in a crappy film...

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.
