Error in time

The movie doesnt take place during the depression but around 1908-1915. Just a little error.

Maybe I missed it, but I never heard anyone mention "depression" anywhere in the film? Is there a different version or something?

They said Europe was getting ready for a war, so I guess circa 1914.
