Why not showing his greater fight ?
I was surprised the film didn't show the fight that made him the first black heavyweight champion.
What do you think ?
Jack Johnson beat Tommy Burns for the title at Sydney Stadium.
As far as the Americans of that time were concerned, they were not going to recognise a title having been won if it was not fought in the USA. I think the film tried to echo this belief.
