From the reviews, look as if this might be the definitive book on the Altamount concert.
The author apparently spent a great deal of time trying to separate the myths and urban legends about the Concert from what really happened.
As to blame, from the reviews the author seems to think it was a "Murder On the Orient Express" situation.Everybody did it. One bad decision after another by everybody involved,although he does think that the Mick Jagger might be slightly more to blame then the others,since he was the one who gave the green light for the concert, despite many warning signs that it would not end well. Have not read it, but just ordered it on Kindle.
