Hell Of A Lot Of Fun!

I liked this film. One of the reasons I liked this film was the fact that it was obviously done “tongue in cheek.” It’s silly from start to finish. (I notice, under IMDB's recommendations, they suggest "Dracula". This film is a COMEDY. Not a damn thing scary about it.) Another reason I liked the flick is for our lead actress Pia Degermark. A funny & sexy roll and she plays both well!

Now I’m seeing a lot of people are saying this sucks and comparing it to “The Fearless Vampire Killers”…
Having never saw that film, I dunno…

It was just a simple comedy with lots of boobies in it. The whole “vampire” plot is secondary to the dumb jokes and all the sexual cavorting & gratuitous nudity onscreen.

After those last two sentences, I have to ask myself WHY I liked this film…
Hell, I don’t know. But I’m glad I own it… I’d watch it again. Just not again this year.

I just saw "The Fearless Vampire Killers" (the longer Polanski cut) and, honestly, "The Vampire Happening" is the better movie.

"The Fearless Vampire Killers" is notable for starring Polanski when he was young, as well as having Sharon Tate in a small role, but -- beyond that -- it's dreadfully dull. I had a real hard time finishing it. I'm not saying "The Vampire Happening" is great, because it's far from it, but it's certainly more entertaining than "The Fearless Vampire Killers". …
