'Gas-S-S!' on the Comet Network

"Gas-S-S!" on the Comet Network

The Comet Network ran this on TV tonight in Toledo Ohio on channel 24.3. But they gave it the name of "Gas-S-S!"
Searching for "Gas-S-S!" does not bring up this movie.
I'm using the Android app on my smartphone and I don't see any way to edit and add an alternate title from the app. Maybe somebody else can do it?

We don't even get an on-screen guide! So, I never know what's going to be on when I tune-in at showtimes. Today, it's "Gas".

I haven't seen this since THIS aired it. It's just as I remember, and I am enjoying it all over again. Someone mentioned drugs to enjoy it. Well, I was a teen in the Sixties who attended a junior college in the Seventies that was~if you'll excuse the word~high on the list of Illinois' "party colleges". I enjoy life too much ever to mess with drugs.

I really love this movie for all of its absurdities. I'll likely watch it several times.

I do wish that COMET would have an on-screen guide, and I've talked to several people at cable about it. I guess they couldn't care less.

Funny....I'm watching it on Comet right now too!

I do get an onscreen guide for Comet on my TiVo, which is connected to an antenna. It's also connected to TWC and they do not have a guide for it...

If you go to http://www.comettv.com/ and click on SCHEDULE it will give you a guide for what's coming up in the next couple of weeks or so.

I don't know what "TWC" and "TiVo" are.

However, when I go to COMET, it says that I have to download the guide. I've never downloaded anything because I'm afraid of something going wrong. The information that shows up is rather distressing and has such dire warnings that I just can't get myself to click "Accept".

I'll just keep tuning in and hoping to catch movies.

Why can't COMET simply post its schedule?!

It's just a PDF file. On my browser (Chrome, from google) it just opens in a tab for viewing. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. But there is some malicious stuff out there, so I can understand your trepidation.

Here's a guide that requires no downloading:

TWC is Time Warner Cable.
TiVo is a video recorder (DVR/Digital Video Recorder - kinda like a VCR): https://www.tivo.com/

I'm thankful for both responses!

Thanks for assuring me that the COMET film should be safe.

Thanks to the second response for suggesting a site for listings and for letting me know what those two things are. I'm very tech-challenged; I still have a VCR, a 1990 TV set and an on-the-wall touch-tone phone. Well, I do have a notepad (compueter), and it does play DVDs~if I ever get around to doing that.

Someday, I might officially enter the 21st century.

THANK YOU! I now have a link to that schedule in my Favorites Bar.

I am such a coward about doing something like downloading, so this saved me from having to do that though I appreciate the reassurance that it's safe.

I also got CometTV as the movie's currently on. I'm also fortunate TVGuide.com recognizes it on the listings as Channel 58-3.
