Tim didn't waste time did he?

Tim Brett (Hemmings) meets Juliet (Hunnicutt) in Italy after she discovered the body of his aunt.

Within a week he's calling her 'love' (he mentions to her that after a week the Italian police have got nowhere quite unlike Tim) and when they're back in London they're already engaged!!

Clearly the character of Tim is quite like the real life Hemmings in moving fast when it came to the fairer sex.

Hemmings was married to Hunnicutt at the time and had an affair with Samantha Eggar a few months after the wedding.

This happened when Hemmings and Eggar were making The Walking Stick; Fragment of Fear was Hemmings' next film so I imagine there was a little tension on set with the missus.
