when will this title be released? I would love to see this classic drama thriller.

Hi nakdigitalvideo, thanks for the info, but I've checked the DVD-R's and they contain pan and scan versions ripped from VHS. I'm demanding so will have to wait and hope for an official DVD release.

Sony is now selling "on Demand" DVRS of this movie. It's full frame but the picture looks quite nice.
They only sell these through their website right now and they haven't trickled down to other online stores like Amazon.

I bought the DVD-R and am happy to report it is a very good presentation, so anyone like me who just has to see this now can, you also get the original trailer on the disc, a directors' commentary would have been very welcomed.
