The Susan Aspatch/Nicholson sex scene

Maybe I'm not well-versed on hate sex but I rewatched that scene recently and just don't get exactly what happened.

She was engaged (IIRC) and overtly told him to leave and so I'm not sure why she suddenly decided to fall into his arms or why he thought she was attracted to her. Or what specifically he meant by ....

I don't know nothing about the scene made sense to me. I enjoyed watching it because, let's face it, it was pretty hot.

Also, I've heard people say that a lot of the movie doesn't make sense and I kind of agree with all that as well

I didn't particularly get that scene either although I'm a big fan of the movie. He had been used to being around a bimbo lately so he felt strongly attracted to Catherine and she knew it. She also knew it was a betrayal of her fiance to go to bed with his bro, but the very wrongness of it added to the excitement.

She already showed an interest in Bobby by agreeing to meet him "the day after tomorrow." So, she was clearly interested - but she obviously felt attached to Bobby's brother and repulsed by Bobby's attitude.

As for the movie not making sense - it makes a lot of sense. Please see the comments regarding the meaning of the movie in other threads.

The movie makes sense, but it took multiple viewings for everything to fall into place. Watching it once is a huge disservice to the movie.

I remember she had hairy armpits.

She was a bimbo too.
