Love Me Tender used as an excuse to molest every woman in the audience

Smooth fellow.

That mofo knew who to get it done.

I kinda wish the band had done more than just play the song as if Elvis was singing when he went into the audience. Would have been a great chance for James Burton to step up and play an extended solo. Oh well.

Did the band know he would walk into the crowd and grope everyone and turn it into an instrumental? Or was this something he did every night?

I was wondering the same thing myself. Maybe if he did it spontaneously, they might have known what to do except to keep playing what they normally would have done. Or maybe they just figured they should keep it low key so as to not look like they were trying to steal the thunder away from Elvis.

As if Elvis needed an excuse to grope! I would have been the first in line for the groping...and asked if he needed anything else.

Before Elvis, there was nothing.~John Lennon

He kissed more girls than Richard Dawson.

Not only were those women lining up to be groped, some of them had to be pried loose!  I liked the granny Elvis asked if she just wanted to fool around, or get serious! 
