Recently watched... question?

i'm an ira levin fan...and frank converse too, so have always loved this tvm, one of my favorites to share with friends when we have movie nite... recently showed to someone new who said he thought he remembered another movie based along same theme, (kindly doctor w/God complex)... and now thinking i may recall that too, sounds familiar, but neither of us could remember what called or how long ago... anyone know?
