Underrated Euro-cult treasure

I'm kind of surprised at the lack of threads on this board. I first saw this film on VHS - the North American Republic release - and loved it immediately.
Of course, I have a weakness for campy, slightly seaz, dubbed films from Europe in the 60s and 70s. I recently watched it again, this time RARO's fantastic widescreen transfer with almost 10 minutes of footage I hadn't seen before.

Ok, it's not a landmark piece of work, but it's fun as hell and a solid, well-made film. Helmut Berger is perfectly cast, Herbert Lom turns in a good performance, the score is groovy and the costumes even more so, the cinematography is very pleasing to the eye...i could go on.

I can even swear that the rating for this has gone DOWN since it's DVD release, which completely astounds me as it is now available in the best version seen in years. At least by the reviews I can tell that there is some appreciation for this little known gem.
