definitive response re: censoring, please

There is some dispute re: the amount of (or lack of) censoring of the MGM release (see the thread discussing this: 'Question about MGM release'). As that thread petered out (so to speak) can anyone tell me, decisively, if the 2002 MGM release is censored in any way? There is a single minute disrepancy between the runtime stated on IMDB and the runtime amazon gives on the DVD page - is this significant?

Thanks, Feego, I took your answer as definitive and bought a copy ! UPDATE! December 15th 2008 - the MGM DVD is NOT censored, and certainly the "erection" is included, as well as lots of cheerful nudity and bawdy narrative of which Boccaccio would surely have approved.

the difference in runtime might be the difference between 25 frames per second from PAL and 26(I believe)fps for NTSC. Maybe they took the runtime on IMDB from the European release.

reply

No. The PAL speed-up is 4%. That would make the running time 107 or 108 mins. for the European DVDs.
