Want to see the theatrical release version?

I decided to buy this for my iPod (to watch/listen to on an upcoming road trip). I was expected the running time to be less than two hours (or 120 minutes). I was delighted to see a running time of 2 hours and 23 minutes. I understand that the original full-length version has been shown on television worldwide, and as of February 2006 on Turner Classic Movies but if you want to see the theatrical release version of this ‘darling’ movie and not wait until it’s shown on TCM (or elsewhere on television), buy it from iTunes.

Now if only Paramount would release the uncut, theatrical release version on DVD/ blu-ray, complete with the documentaries, vintage featurettes, isolated score, audio commentary with (at least Julie Andrews) and more, that would be great.
