Angel, Angel Down We Go Together

Nothing remarkable really, just remembered the title of a Morrissey song- Angel, Angel Down We Go Together. I havent seen this film, but would like to. A question to anyone who knows or cares; is the 'lift' of the title just cos Morrissey liked the sound of it, or do the film and the song have any connection or a congruence of some sort?

All the best.

'You're getting old, John.'

Have you seen Bogart Peter Stuyvesent - a rather fetching young thing at height of his beauty not unlike the Joe Daellesandro cover on the The Smiths first LP. Expect that and the aesthetic of the film and title was what appealled.

You're getting old, Quent.

There is a Morrissey website called Passions Just Like Mine where they have an extensive section of Morrissey influences and "likes" so you might find something there.
