can I find a version with the original Gilliam title sequence

I've never seen the movie, but I'm a huge Gilliam fan and would love to see a title sequence he created, especially if it's a cheapo Vincent Price thriller. Is the AIP version the only one available?

Rented it from netflix and they have the version you seek. This movie is Witchfinder General with a monster and tits.

The complete version of Cry of the Banshee with the opening title sequence designed by Terry Gilliam (which runs 91 minutes) is available on DVD from MGM. It's paired with the director's cut of Murders in the Rue Morgue (1971) (both films are directed by Gordon Hessler). There's even featurettes on the making of both films and their respective trailers.

It's easily the best part of the otherwise not-so-good film.

You could never be Agent Cooper--not even for your mom's XMAS party!
