I own this DVD. It's a great film/story. But it is a video tape of a television broadcast. A tv station logo even appears on the screen at one time during the duration of the film. Surprised Amazon sells such a product without warning.

That is odd that Amazon would sell a DVD like that. Thanks, for your feedback. What about about the film do you like? Dislike?

It's a very good film. You have to realize it's from the early 70's though. Great creepy atmosphere and a soundtrack that stuck with me through my whole life, though I only saw the film a few times when broadcast 40 some years ago. The quality is very bad though. Image is flat and the shadows and blacks are more a dingy grey with a lot of grain. .

Sounds like the company should've restored the DVD before releasing it.  Who wants to see some grainy movie? It's like those older movies from the 40's, I can't think of which one, but there was honestly one where I could barely hear what they were saying and I'm far from deaf.
