Only two films about Cromwell ?
Only "Cromwell" and "To Kill a King"(2003). Why ? Oliver Cromwell deserve more films or TV series.
That whole history of England deserved an epic mini-series, if they could get all actors to agree to do it and also keep the same production values.
The personal rule of Charles I of the 1630s; all of the actions regarding taxes, monopolies and religion that lead to widespread discontent with Charles I and monarchy in general.
The discussions in parliament of late 1630s; discussions of the new, revolutionary relationship between monarch and parliament being considered.
The military fighting of the 1640s; grossly glossed over in this film, could have shown something of the siege warfare in existence back then. And more cavalry charges. Plus more of the strategy used by both sides in the conflict.

The dictatorship of Cromwell of the 1650s; some of his actions in subduing Ireland.
Then finally the restoration of the 1660s; or at least the executions of those involved in the trial/execution of Charles I.
That whole period is rich with interesting stories and subplots.
