Fabio's death....

Ok. Despite some obvious plot holes, This was a VERY enjoyable Hammer film. Also a very underrated one.

however, I thought the death of Fabio...and what happened afterwards, was sort of comical and made little sense.

Fabio is killed because he is about to tell the young LT what was going on and is caught doing so. HOWEVER, in the next scene, Fabio's dead body is there for the LT to see and then young kid is taken to the Ingrid Pitt's character and everything is explained to him anyways. So, they killed him because he wanted to spill the beans, but then they totally spill them anyways. I mean, they could have hid the body and the LT would never have known what happened.
