Question about the seduction of Lucy scene...

During the scenes where Dracula is stalking Lucy, and he is whispering: "Lucy! Lucy!"...is that really Christopher Lee's voice? Also, the creepy and weird sound effects successfully create an atmosphere of dread. Regarding these sound effects...what are they supposed to be, and how did they make these sounds in real life? They kind of sound like bats and nocturnal insects to me.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely, Steve B.

P.S. This is one of my favorite versions of "Dracula" by the way!

I wondered the same thing about the voice. It does not sound like Christopher Lee at all, but who knows? As for the sound effects, I found them very distracting...too weird and out of place to be scary.

Definitely NOT Christopher Lee's voice.

"TheSolarSailor"...I agree. The sound effects were bizarre and not really necessary. However, we are dealing with a Franco film, and he had a reputation for adding weird touches to his films.

Squonkamatic...so it wasn't Chris Lee's voice? Very interesting.

Thanks!

Cheers!

I found the "Lucy" chant slightly tedious after the first 5 times.
