QUESTION ABOUT MUSIC...

I have the soundtrack recording of the complete score by Bruno Nicolai, and it is delightful, moody and very atmospheric in its way.

However...my question concerns about an awesome piece of music NOT heard in the film or included on the soundtrack, but which is used as the menu music on the Dark Sky DVD.

It's not anything I've ever heard before in the classical repertoire, and I'm certain it has been lifted from some other Euro-Horror film of the 1960's or 70's.

Can anyone who owns the DVD identify the piece and where I might find it?

That twanging guitar sound reminds me of the music played throughout the two Sherlock Holmes movies with Ribert Downey Jr.
