Who's the brown haired kid?

I'm talking about the one carrying the radio during the college board meeting at the start. Later, he's the kid who paints the side of the house with the colours reversed. I'm sure I've seen him someplace else.

I always liked the color scheme on the house. As my mother always said, I MUST have Gypsy blood in me....that's right, right off the wagon.

PS-I'm watching it now and the blond kid for Springfield State reminds me of Ed Begley Jr (even though probably isn't).

Does anybody else think so?

According to Wikipedia, it IS Ed Begley Jr, though he's uncredited.
