Christine Jorgensen was NOT first to have Sex Change!

Can't people get their facts right? I understand this sort of mistake in the 1970s/80s/early to mid 90s, but c'mon!!! Most of us have access to the internet these days!! You can look information up, and get through disinformation!

Actually, I thought this was true as well until fairly recently I learned there was another well publicized case a few years before Christine's. Someone from Britain named, Roberta Cowell.

'smjensen' do you know if Roberta Cowell is still alive? Her Wikipedia page doesn't have a 'death date.' But if she is still alive she must be quite old by now.

Roberta Cowell is on you.tube ...actually Christine had her sex reasignment done till years after she returned from Denmark..by an american plastic surgeon
when she got off the plane from Denmark she had had a penectomy and castration she did not have female genetalia (it's in her book)
