One of the few in John Waynes list

The Billy the Kid role and the young girl----poorly acted

Glen Campbell wailing throughout

Some of the stunts looked forced

I believe he sang the songs in this film, didn't act in it but sang

The singer you hear in the middle of the film is Norman Gimbel.

The singer was Merle Haggard. He is credited at the beginning of the picture.
