That redhead is wearing a completely transparent top almost exactly 1 hour into the movie. Not only that but she makes Jimmy Stewart honk her hooter. I didn't know he did that sort of thing. That's the first shenanigans like that I've seen on the Western Channel.

shareThe funny thing is.... I saw this movie when it first came out and have watched it about 10 differnt times on TV and Cable. Well tonight watching it on the Western channel, I saw nipples for the first time...hehehe. And the movie is only rated PG. I just had to laugh... I was 12 the first time I saw this movie at the Drive-In and I never noticed. Then again I think it was part of a double feature with M*A*S*H, so it was pretty tame. It's funny how many little details like that are in old movies and nobody every complained.

Oh, really, what's the big deal? Breasts are wonderful and lovely, NOT naughty or sinful. In Europe women go topless all the time on beaches and elsewhere. We Americans are just so uptight about this sort of thing !!

Similar unexpected scene: in "The Happy Ending" from 1969, Jean Simmons is similarly shown thru a see-thru neglige in a brief scene in front of a fireplace...don't blink or you'll miss it..but it's there (unfortunately not available on DVD)
Yeah she definitely doesn't look 38, i would of guessed mid to late 20's. And what's depressing is knowing that Mickey Rooney was married to her in the mid 1950's, not mention he cheated on her often. Insanity.

I remember seeing this movie at the theater so was pleasantly surprised to see it t.v. the other night. I was so surprised by this scene! Too funny! And I have no memory of it from the first time I saw it. Then again, I am still trying to figure out where I put my coffee down this morning.
