Anyone feel a twinge of sexual tension between Delon and Volonte?

Maybe I'm reading a little too much into the film, but by the end with all their silent staring there seems to be something going on there. And look at the way Delon takes the rose from the sexy waitress out of politeness, and then frowns and tosses it away.

I really gotta find better ways to waste time.

Well not so sure about that..but they were "partners in crime". If you ask me at that time they're just thinking on making off with some jewels and not thinking of hanging out with women..maybe later....;-)...

I'll go for that. Corey did spend 5 years in prison, and he throws away the picture of the former girlfriend. And Vogel has the rose in the apartment, so Corey took it with him. To give to Vogel? Your theory makes the film a little more enjoyable.... :)

I wanted the two of them to make out at some point. Delon and Volonte were hot.

Freak out in a moonage daydream oh yeah!

Only in your pants.

I thought I felt something at the last scene in the apt before Delon takes off.

Did you now?
Keep silent unless what you are going to say is more important than silence.

Twinge? You could cut it with a knife! Sorry to all of you who are upset by the idea, but it struck me right from their first meeting and was confirmed throughout the rest of the film.

I think it was suggested there is a bond between them, Vogel is wearing a dressing gown with Corey's initials on it when thwy get back to Paris.

I noticed this too throughout the film, hah.

It was palpable from the time Delon was tossing his box and lighter to Volonte. Some people don't notice in-your-face homosexuality, let alone subtleties dealing with it. Pretty much my whole family still rejects the notion that certain very big name Hollywood leading men are the gayest gays that ever gayed. I just wish it would be ok for everyone to be who they wanna be without repercussions. A person's sexual inclination should not become their entire identity.

But props for starting this thread - I just watched this film and came her to see if anyone else noticed.
