Good family movie for ages up to 12

Which is saying a lot these days when kids are playing gangsters and slaughtering policemen and rivals with automatic weapons in high-tech video games.

Ryan was a very good actor but he's out of his league here and is the most wooden, boring Nemo ever portrayed. An actor with the skills of previous Nemos Mason, Lom or Ferrer is badly needed. Chuck Connors was fine in the basic hero role. Best part of the film is Paluzzi playing a Vernesque theremin.
