One Lousy Movie
The only redeeming thing about this movie is the various outdoor shots of the Tucson and Sabino Canyon area. I remember going out to Sabino Canyon one day and finding the road blocked by the movie crew. I eventually found out they werte filming this movie there. What a waste!
Incredibly bad acting (William Smith really chews the scenery and a wooden Joe Namath is just that, wooden). The story was written by Ann-Margret's husband of the day, Roger Smith, apparently because she needed a payday. There couldn't be any other reason. There was a lot of fluff in the papers of the day that had Broadway Joe and Ann-Margret dating but that may have been just publicity.
Among the worst of all scenes was the "climatic" flat track on choppers. Nothing could be more asinine - unless it is choppers trying to ride a motocross course.
Even considering the motorcycle movie genre this is a real piece of crap.
