When Harold first spoke...

(well I think he laughed first IIRC)

but who else cracked up laughing?

With that snooty Phil Spector look and the sunglasses, I'm not sure what I was expecting from him, but that wasn't it. I think some of it was also the way they talked about him and all the anticipation before he arrived.

When Harold shows up at the door, his initially deadpan demeanor makes you think that he's a somewhat sinister character, having the look of a gangster or hitman from some B-movie. Then, as you say, he starts giggling like a little girl and talking in his high lilt, completely opposite to the first silent impression at the door step.

Great scene and great acting by Frey (the strange, swaying gestures were an interesting touch).

Yeah, he was one of my favorites, though I think everybody but Donald and the redheaded rentboy had me pretty riled up for about the first two thirds of it. I liked the idea that he was a not-too-punctual pothead too. The voice sort of reminded me of Jim Parsons.

This was a really good watch, not having known anything about it. I don't believe I knew anybody from anything other than Gorman, who was actually a bit over the top sometimes, but all of them were really good. I'll probably watch it again later on.

Take Care
