It's a type of hat.

Correction: It's the name of an Italian hat company, best known for their fedoras. Their hats are fairly expensive and of very high quality.

If you want to know how to recognize a real Borsalino, read Shantaram, the test is explained: roll it and pull it through a ring, if it comes out the other side, and looks the same, it is a real Borsalino.
