Lucia + Hari...

I have watched Bombay Talkie countless times, but I'm still puzzled by one thing - are we to assume that at one point, Lucia & Hari were intimate with each other? It's easy to see that Hari is crazy in love with her, and that Lucia uses him, but her feeling are for Vikram.

There is a scene (before Lucia hooks up with Vikram,) where Hari is in her suite reading his "poetic drama" to her. They move to the couch, talk about his ring, being poor, about how her husband stranded her in NYC, and about how she has "bad legs/knobbly knees." At that point, things are getting pretty relaxed, we see Hari touch her exposed knee, and then the scene ends. Maybe she was just flirting with him, but I always wonder about that scene...
