How do you interpret this movie?

What a strange movie. There is almost no plot. For me this movie seems to be touching on the themes of chaos and blindness in reality.

The authority within a society will inevitably be privileged, controlling and condescending towards the populace. The populace can rebel and overthrow the authority but is ultimately too disorganised/corrupt/selfish/wild to maintain an ordered society without authority. But at least they can burn down palm trees and kill pigs.
