Was this movie originally presented in cinemas on widescreen (cinemascope) format or was is it originally presented in fullscreen??? I must find out, so that i can wait for the widescreen dvd some day?

all disney movies that were made in widescreen ARE in widescreen on dvd. So if the Aristocats dvd is only available in fullscreen then that is how it was made.
here's an easy way to tell if it is supposed to be widescreen or fullscreen. Just look at the back of the dvd box and look for the ratio. If it says "this film is presented in its original aspect ratio" then that is how it is supposed to be, regardless of whether it's widescreen or fullscreen.
