From the Time I Was a Child, I HATED This Movie

My little sister always loved it, and watched it nearly every day. Perhaps it was the repetition that warranted my hatred, but something about it just made me mad. I'm thinking it was the fact that the lady was leaving her entire fortune to CATS. As a little kid, that just ticked me off.

lol That's so funny. Me and my sister were the same. I loved the movie but my sister thought it was stupid. She was a very serious minded child with no time for nonsense in her life. I wonder if you were the same? :)

Don't be ridiculous! Jack would never die without telling me!

I probably was a serious child, though I know I'm full of nonsense now. I'd probably still hate this film, were I to dare watch it again, but as there is no time for such things, I may never know.

Me and both my bros loved it as kids. We could recite it line for line.

It DID have some cute songs in it. I have to give the movie that. Very catchy :)

Why not leave the money to the cats of she doesn't have family? its her money. And though there are homeless people there are homeless animals too.I think it's awesome to see a human that values an animals life.

But cats are pretty intelligent in the universe of this movie.

There are many times they play musical instruments, cats in real life can't do that.

And for the record I don't like the movie, I don't hate it either, I just find it ok.

I loved this movie as a kid.

I liked it because when I was very young, a stray mother cat took shelter in our yard and had kittens, so I named her Duchess. That was around the time I saw the movie. It must have been a re release because it was after 1970, and I did see it in an actual theater. May have been a part of the morning movie series they had once a week at movie theaters where they would show older movies for kids before the theater officially opened once a week.
