Michael Douglas Was OK in This Film. The Real Gem Here is.....

Lee Purcell. Absolutely stunningly beautiful, in an era that was packed with beautiful women. Her film career really never took off but she was an almost every night regular on the TV shows of the 1970's. This was her first work, at age 23, and is worth seeing if for no other reason.

My parents took me to see this movie when I was 7, because Lee was in the movie. I remember seeing Lee's parents outside the theater. I have known Lee's family all my life, but I don't think I actually ever met her. I still have a high school graduation present that her parents gave me almost 35 years ago! LOL

I thought both Lee Purcell and Joe Don Baker were memorable in this too-seldom-seen drama.
