Soundtrack

Given the obscurity of the film, the chances we'll ever be able to get the soundtrack re-released are probably remote. What a drag. What a great soundtrack. Some of the songs are available on other Glaser records, but not, sadly, the theme, which I have the original version of (by Hoover, whoever he was).

I actually have the blasted soundtrack on LP; I bought it off some guy on Usenet, but don't have any access to a turntable (sign of the times!) to convert it over so I can play it on modern equipment.

What a drag. Does anyone know if the theme from the movie was ever released on some other record or comp?

I really wish the record companies would throw us a bone and re-release this but then again, there's probably no demand for it. Except by me, of course.

Flibbidy floo.

I remember seeing this movie in the 70's, an the thing which stood out most was the fabulous soundtrack. I tried to get it then, but no joy.
Time it came out on DVD - long overdue.

I have it on LP and have transferred it to the computer. There is alot of great music on it. I wonder why this movie has never been released on VHS or DVD? I taped it off local tv 20 years ago and still have it.

If they would just release the Movie on Dvd I'd be happy. Soundtracks usually follow. I contacted the Criterion Collection on remastering this very encompassing movie. To my dismay not on the list, YET! I had recommeded two movies they did put out within months of my suggesting. "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" and "Two Lane Blacktop". Their work is extremely good.
It's an extreme shame, maybe even a crime they don't do this one.
Just like the non release of "Then Came Bronson" Movie and Series is a true crime!
