End credits

While it's true that the show had its ups and downs, good episodes and bad, I noticed one thing I could never forgive them for while rewatching episodes lately. The end credits for the first three seasons were great, with that montage of footage filmed in NYC. Really gave it that authenticity that the show otherwise lacked with its Hollywood soundstage settings. The fourth season end credits were still okay, with Oscar scooping his cigar out of the fountain. Still New York. But the plain blue background of the fifth season was just so dull and generic. What were they thinking?
