I stopped buying after season 3 because of the missing scenes. Now the upcoming Complete Series has a longer running time. No details to be found, so if you get this set let the rest of us know if it is unedited!

NO, sorry to report. My Complete Series set arrived today and it appears all they did was take the individual season discs and put them into one big case. The menus are identical to those on the individual seasons and I'm sure the edits are the same as well. Admittedly, the box does state, "Music has been changed for this home entertainment version."
I preordered this on Amazon for $32.99, which is incredibly inexpensive, so no real complaints (besides the music and edits), but one quibble would be the cheap packaging. It is one giant case, with pages like a book holding each disc (the same as the case in the recent FUGITIVE DVD release that holds seasons 1-3). There's no box, just a very thin paper sleeve that slides over the plastic case. When I opened the case, the "book" of discs was not even attached to the "binding," just detached and resting in the case.
Again, for the price, I'm not going to get into a lather about it, but I was hoping for better quality packaging and think an acclaimed and popular series like THE ODD COUPLE more than deserved better than it got.
PS: I watched a couple episodes already: the very first one, "The Laundry Orgy," and "Oscar's New Life" (guest starring John Astin and Ed Platt) and both looked fine and were free of any noticeable edits. Can't wait to watch 'em all!
