Was "The Cemetery" the best episode?

Or was "The Cemetery" at least one of the best episodes?

It was certainly up there in the top ten!
One of my favorites is Sins of the Father..... Richard Thomas played the son of the sin eater. I still can't get that one out of my mind.

Possibly, since just reading the title stimulated an immediate, vivid memory.

Is that the one where the picture on the wall changes with the Uncle the Nephew (Roddy McDowell?) killed shows montages of him leaving the grave and banging on the front door?
Freaked me out when I was a kid!

Yep, that's the one----"The Cemetery" scared the hell out of me as a child watching it for the first time, too. It's the first story in the pilot movie for Night Gallery, and the best one to me.

"They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar" was one my favourites.

IMO it was the best episode. The acting was flawless from both McDowall and Davis. I can still hear McDowall repeating "Portifoy" over and over and over. The whole thing was just so creepy, with the figure getting closer and closer and closer. This was definitely the best!
